Mountain Top...refueling your soul

With Powerlife youth camps rapidly approching this summer I cant help but to relive some of the most exciting worship services Ive ever been in while at Powerlife.

Mountain top experiences come to mind after many services at camp, and those experiences can last sometimes for weeks, months, and maybe even years. But reality is no matter how high you go, you have to come down at some point to refuel. A airplane can fly miles and miles, a space shuttle can leave our atmosphere but at some point, they have to refuel their engines so they keep going.

And like a plane, us humans have to come down eventually and refuel, our fuel as Christians is diving into the Word of God and relying on Him. Life can get us down, and tragedy will strike; God tells us that life wont be easy, but when it does get rough on the mountain and when were not on top that He is always with us! Its so encouraging to know when were down all we have to do is look up, and He is there.

The final thing I want to leave with is that our responsibility as Christians is to uplift others. When we see someone down and out we should be there to help and get them through. Its our duty to be the light in this world, and to reflect Jesus Christ. We cant lift others up to us, or to where we are on the mountain ,but we need to life them up to Jesus. Who is higher than we ever will be!

Jeremiah 29:11.. For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and future.
